Modern Slavery Statement
This Modern Slavery Statement sets out the principles and controls that guide our approach to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour within our operations and supply chains. We recognise that modern slavery can take many forms, including debt bondage, coercion, and exploitation, and we are committed to acting with zero tolerance toward any practice that undermines human dignity. Our policy applies to all employees, contractors, partners, and suppliers, regardless of location or business function.
Our commitment is supported by clear governance, risk awareness, and responsible sourcing practices. Modern slavery prevention is embedded into our wider compliance framework, and we expect the same level of vigilance from those who work with us. This statement reflects our ongoing effort to identify, prevent, and address risks in a proactive and accountable manner.
We require all business units to understand the red flags associated with labour exploitation and to escalate concerns quickly. Training, internal reviews, and due diligence processes are used to strengthen awareness and improve decision-making. Our aim is to ensure that the standards we uphold are not only documented but actively applied throughout the organisation.
Our zero-tolerance policy is the foundation of this statement. Any confirmed instance of modern slavery, or any supplier found to be knowingly complicit in such conduct, may result in immediate corrective action and potential termination of the relationship. We do not accept excuses for exploitation, and we expect our business partners to share this stance.
To support this policy, we conduct risk-based supplier audits across relevant parts of the supply chain. These audits may include document reviews, site inspections, worker interviews, and verification of employment practices. Where risks are identified, we require timely remediation plans, follow-up checks, and evidence of sustained improvement.
Supplier assessment is not a one-time exercise. We use ongoing screening to evaluate country risk, industry risk, and the nature of services provided. Modern slavery compliance is built into onboarding and renewal processes so that concerns can be identified early and managed consistently.
We also maintain clear and accessible reporting channels for concerns related to modern slavery or labour exploitation. Employees and other stakeholders are encouraged to raise issues in good faith, whether anonymously or openly, and all reports are treated seriously. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern is prohibited.
Reports are reviewed promptly, and appropriate investigations are carried out in line with our internal procedures. Where allegations are substantiated, we take action based on the severity of the issue, the level of risk involved, and the need to protect affected individuals. Our response may include suspension of work, escalation to senior leadership, and engagement with relevant specialists.
We also recognise the importance of capability building. Training on modern slavery awareness, ethical sourcing, and escalation pathways is provided to relevant teams so that they can identify warning signs and respond appropriately. This helps ensure that our anti-slavery controls remain practical, visible, and effective.
This statement will be subject to an annual review to confirm that it remains relevant, robust, and aligned with current legal and operational requirements. The review will consider changes in risk profile, audit findings, supplier performance, incident trends, and any lessons learned from investigations or remediation work.
As part of the review cycle, we assess whether our policies and controls need to be strengthened. If gaps are identified, corrective actions are assigned and tracked to completion. We view continuous improvement as essential to maintaining a credible response to modern slavery risk.
Through this approach, we aim to uphold responsible business conduct and protect vulnerable people across our value chain. Our modern slavery statement, together with our internal standards and supplier expectations, reflects a clear commitment to prevention, accountability, and ethical practice at every level.
